RIDE WELL has launched a new accessible service providing vans with ramp access to individuals with mobility aids, such as wheelchairs or scooters who are not able to access RIDE WELL’s standard vehicles.

Booking Your Accessible Trip
Accessible trips can be booked:
- Using the RIDE WELL mobile app, available on the Google Play or App Store
- On the online booking website
- Calling the toll-free number 1.833.900.RIDE (7433), available Monday to Friday between 8:30 am – 4:30 pm. Please indicate you are looking to book an accessible trip to ensure a vehicle with ramp access is booked.
Select the passenger type “Passenger with a Mobility Aid” to ensure you are booking a vehicle with ramp access.
Accessible Transit Application Form
Accessible trips can be booked up to seven days in advance. If you would like to be considered for up to 14-day advance booking, please complete an Accessible Transit Application Form. Applicants who are approved will have access to an extra week of advance booking. This ensures that passengers that require a vehicle with ramp access will have an earlier opportunity to book vehicles that can accommodate those trips.

How to Apply for 14-Day Advance Booking
- Fill out Section 1, to be completed by yourself or by a designate.
- Have Section 2 completed by a medical/healthcare professional.
- Submit your fully completed Accessible Transit Application in one of two ways:
- Upload a copy to the online form, or,

Notice of Collection
The County of Wellington collects personal information through this application form for intake and verification purposes related to physical disabilities and the use of mobility aids for the Ride Well programme. In accordance with data minimization practices, only the necessary information will be retained, and the remainder of the form will be securely destroyed after processing. The information retained will be used solely to support the provision of accessible transportation services through the Ride Well programme, and may be used to contact you or your designated emergency contact in the event of an emergency.
Personal information collected by the County of Wellington will be protected by the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (MFIPPA).
