Mobile Household Hazardous Waste Depot

On July 1, 2016 a new service was added to increase opportunities for County residents to dispose of Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) materials.

A Mobile HHW Depot has been made available at each of the County's six waste facilities, and two County roads garages for a period of one month before moving on to the next County waste facility or roads garage. The depot has been open during the facility's regular operating hours, with the exception of Riverstown, and the roads garages where it is open three days per week.

With this change in service SWS has made it even easier for all  County of Wellington residents to safely dispose of their HHW materials.

There is no charge to drop off HHW materials; however maximum quantity limits will apply, and you must register with the HHW Technician.

Below is the Mobile HHW Depot schedules for 2017. Please call the office or ask a site attendant if you have any questions or would like specific start and finish dates for any location.
