Ontario Public Library Week

October is an exciting month for public libraries! We are celebrating Canadian Library Month and Ontario Public Library Week which takes place October 20 - 26. This is a great time to recognize the important contributions public libraries make towards a community's literacy, education and life-long learning.

Wellington County Library will be celebrating this week with a number of exciting activities! Some highlights include:

  • Book draws for all ages
  • Food for Fines - Bring in a non-perishable food item to your local branch and receive $2 off overdue fines.  All food collected will be donated to community food banks.
  • Evergreen Award voting - vote for your favourite 2013 Evergreen nominee and be entered to win a pair of tickets to see "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" at the River Run Centre!
