Wellington County owns over 1,200 acres of forest lands in 11 different forest tracts. They are managed to produce a variety of forest benefits:

  • Environmental protection
  • Wood products
  • Recreation
  • Wildlife habitat

County forests are used extensively by the public. Hunting is not permitted on the following: Badenoch, Cumnock, Little, Peacock and Everton Tracts. You can download a map of Wellington County Forests by visiting our maps page.
