How do I get a library card?

Go to any of the 14 branches of the Wellington County Library. Please bring photo identification and proof of address.

Can a child obtain a library card?

Yes! We encourage children to have their own library cards. A parent or guardian will have to sign each child's card, and will be responsible for items taken out on the card until the child turns 16 years old.

What do I do if I've lost my library card?

Let the library know right away! You are responsible for all materials borrowed on your card. There is a $2.00 fee to replace a lost or damaged card.

What is my PIN ?

Your PIN is your Personal Identification Number. You need your library card number and a PIN to access many of our online services, such as eBooks or online research tools. Speak to library staff if you have lost your PIN or are not sure what it is.

Can I use the Wellington County Library system if I do not live in Wellington County ?
