Story Time (All Ages)

Our Story Times are created to help your child get ready for reading. Share stories, songs, rhymes, and activities aimed at developing your child's early literacy skills. Parents and caregivers are encouraged to participate.

P.A. Day: Playful Machines (Grades K- 6)

Welcome to the science of the school playground! Students will examine simple machines by incorporating levers, wheels and axles, and inclined planes into a model playground. Simple machines will be transformed into real objects that are familiar to the children. Presented by Let's Talk Science at the University of Guelph. Please register.

P.A. Day: Matter Matters (Grades K- 3)

What are the states of matter? How are solids, liquids, and gases different from each other? What happens when you mix a solid and a liquid? Students will explore the properties of liquids and the interactions between solids and liquids in hands-on stations. Presented by Let's Talk Science at the University of Guelph. Please register.
