LEAP - Learning, Earning and Parenting

The LEAP programme assists young parents receiving Ontario Works with personal supports and financial incentives. The programme is available to parents up to the age of 25 who have not completed high school.

LEAP participants work closely with a specialized caseworker to develop a plan for success.

Learning

  • The learning components of LEAP promote high school graduation for participants.

Earning

  • The earning component of LEAP provides participants with access to Ontario Works employment supports as well as opportunities to develop employment skills.

Parenting

  • The parenting component of LEAP supports young parents with programmes and activities that will improve their parenting skills.

If you're a young parent between the ages of 16 and 25, here's your chance to leap ahead to success! Check out our Learning, Earning and Parenting (LEAP) brochure for further information about the programme.
