Outbreak Update

OUTBREAK CURRENTLY IN THE MAPLE RIDGE RESIDENT HOME AREA AT WELLINGTON TERRACE.

  • One visitor per resident per day in the resident room.  If the resident you are visiting is on isolation, you must take the necessary precautions and wear personal protective equipment. 
  • You may not visit anyone else in the facility or anyone else after visiting the outbreak area.
  • Care Conferences will continue as scheduled as these take place off the unit.
  • Resident appointments and outings will be cancelled during the duration of the outbreak.
  • There will be no guest meal service in Resident Home Area for the duration of the outbreak.

Thank you for your cooperation and assistance in helping control the spread of infectious illness. 

If visitors, friends or family members are experiencing ANY one or more respiratory symptoms (cough, sore throat, chills, fever, headache, fatigue, runny nose, nasal congestion, body aches), please do not visit the Terrace until your illness is resolved (5 to 7 days). 

Proper handwashing can aid in the prevention of illness. Together we can protect our residents.
