Housing Help Centre

Housing Help Centre maintains a housing registry to assist individuals in securing affordable housing that exists in the private rental market.  The Centre is operated and funded by the County of Wellington.

Our experienced Housing Help Worker helps individuals:

  • A free housing service
  • A one-stop housing registry for tenant use
  • Free landlord listing service
  • Free government and legal housing publications - Residential Tenancies Act information
  • Referrals and Listings of public, non-profit and co-operative housing
  • Application for Rent Bank assistance to cover rent arrears if being evicted.
  • Find out about government and community services for tenants
  • Use of telephone, computer internet, photocopier and fax services
  • Individual appointments and advocacy offered
