Wellington County Invites the Community to Test Drive a Selection of Electric Vehicles at the Plug’n Drive Mobile EV Education Trailer

WELLINGTON COUNTY, ON – Wellington County is thrilled to host Plug’n Drive’s Mobile Electric Vehicle Education Trailer at the Wellington County Museum and Archives grounds from August 18 to September 4.

The trailer, affectionately known as MEET, is staffed with EV Ambassadors ready to answer your questions about owning, operating and maintaining electric vehicles. As EV owners and drivers, they have real-world experience with finding and using different types of chargers, battery range, vehicle maintenance and cost of operating and charging.

• Fridays to Sundays from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm

“Over time we will be transitioning our County fleet vehicles to EV as the benefits are not only environmental but economical,” says Wellington County Warden, Kelly Linton. “With potential savings of over $2,000 per vehicle per year on maintenance and fuel, and less potential for breakdowns due to far fewer moving parts, EV is the smarter option.”
