Top 5 Things To Do in Wellington County

On Farm Dinner Series - Fall Foraging Walk and Dinner

Saturday, October 15, 3:00 - 9:00 pm Puslinch

The afternoon will start with a scenic hike through Crieff Hills' trails, and stopping at the gardens to learn more about how produce is grown through the year. This event will be the last in the serious by wrapping up with all the lovely Fall vegetables from the gardens.

The On Farm Dinner Series hosted by Crieff Hills features local farmers and produce that is grown on the farm! Chef Matthew Foote will prepare these delicious meals while participants get to experience and see the produce, trees or bees in action! The dinner will include two hours of either learning, foraging or hiking, and a three-course dinner. Guests are welcome after the meal to continue hiking, visit the animals, and labyrinth. This event is by ticket only.

Unwind on the Farm and Cider Tasting

Saturday, October 15, 1:30 - 3:00 pm Erin

Join the Heartwood Farm and Cidery's head farmer, Val, for this special interactive romp through Heartwood's livestock pastures and orchards. This flexible adventure is geared at adults as well as outdoor-loving kids... and really, it appeals to the curious and engaged kid in ALL of us! No dogs please (farm animals find even the cutest ones stressful!). Come prepared for the weather that day -- sunscreen, water bottles, bug spray, rain coats might all be appropriate! Long pants and closed shoes make exploring "off the beaten path" easier too. Extend your visit and Book a patio table for the family before or after your farm adventure.
