Your tourism business and not-for-profit is important to the County
We want to help Wellington County tourism businesses and not-for-profits safely re-open or stay open, and make sure consumers feel confident about coming to Wellington County in the future!
The Tourism Adaptation and Recovery Programme is meant to help small and medium sizes enterprises (SMEs’) and not-for-profits (NFPs’) in the arts, culture and tourism sector by supporting one-time adaptation and re-opening costs incurred to continue operating post COVID-19.
Two streams are available:
- Physical Adaptation
SMEs can apply for up to $20,000 per business towards implementation of health and safety protocols and/or renovations or equipment to accommodate social distancing. Please note: in order to support as many businesses as possible we anticipate most grants to be $5,000. A minimum 20% match is required by the SME or NFP for the amount applied. - Technology Investment
Eligible SMEs can apply for $5000 for digitizing businesses or services such as virtual queues, online ordering, timed entry ticketing, and touch free payments.
