COVID-19 Library Information

Current Service:

  • UPDATE as of January 13, 2021:
    • As a proactive measure to stop the spread of COVID-19, all Wellington County Library branches remain closed to the public. Pickup service is still available at all locations.
    • To pick up your holds, please contact your local branch and arrange a pickup time. Local branch staff will tell you what to do when you arrive for your pickup.
    • All drop boxes will remain open. Please return your items when they are due to your local branch. You can renew items that do not have pending holds using our online catalogue, or by contacting your local branch.
  • Items are returned to the library are being held in quarantine for 72 hours. They will still show on your library card as checked out until this quarantine period is over.
  • Take-and-Make kits, Story Time kits, and virtual programming is still available. Learn more at
  • Room rentals are not available at this time.

If you don't currently have a library card but would like one, please fill out this form. We are able to set up temporary cards for adult and teen residents of Wellington County.
