COVID-19 Library Information

Current Service:

  • UPDATE: As of Tuesday, November 17, all patrons entering a library building will have their temperature taken by staff.
  • Wellington County Library is pleased to announce that we are modifying our service in response to the continuing needs of the Community. Starting on November 2, Mondays and Fridays will be reserved for pick-up service only.
  • Our library branches are open to the public during limited hours. For up to date information about hours of operation at your local branch, please see our About Us page
  • Masks are required at all County facilities and staff will be screening patrons at the door.
  • Items are returned to the library are being held in quarantine for 72 hours. They will still show on your library card as checked out until this quarantine period is over.
  • For a complete list of programming happening this fall, contact your local branch or visit Please check back for monthly updates, including Ontario Public Library Week and PA Day events in October.
  • Room rentals are not available at this time.
