TD Summer Reading Club (TD SRC) is a national and bilingual summer reading programme that encourages joy of reading and builds confidence. Kids can register online at www.tdsummerreadingclub.ca to access free ebooks, a web comic, and share book recommendations, jokes, silly stories and more with children across the country. Participants can also vote for their favourite summer read as two books go head-to-head each week in a Battle of the Books. New this year, the Club will be offering 28 author/illustrator online readings and workshops. Follow TD SRC on Instagram or Facebook to find out more.

We’re also proud to announce a partnership with Eden Mills’ Writers Festival 2020 Online Series. Join us Tuesday, July 7 at 10:30 am for a virtual chat with best-selling author Wesley King. Best known for his novels about teenagers with superpowers, sports, and mental illness, this Harry Potter and Kobe Bryant super fan has imagination to spare. Peek into it as we talk about his latest book, Sara and The Search for Normal, prequel to the award-winning OCDaniel. Visit www.edenmillswritersfestival.ca to register for this free event. Recommended for ages 8-12 years but all are welcome.
