Now and Then - Two Generations of Landscape Artists

September 15, 2018 to January 6, 2019

Opening Reception: Sunday, September 16, 1:00 to 3:00 pm

Now and Then: Two Generations of Landscape Artists is exploring the work of two generations of Canadian landscape artists, separated by more than a hundred years. Wellington County-born Carl Ahrens (1862-1936) and his good friend of international fame Homer Watson (1855-1936) are sharing their love of Canadian landscape with their twenty-first century counterparts, Elora-based Barry McCarthy and former Harriston resident Tony Luciani. The exhibit is highlighting the beauty of the Grand River, the rolling hills of Ontario and the tall skies of Canada.
