Percy Runnells (1920-1989), Elora Artist |
Percy Runnells (1920-1989) was born and raised in Elora. During the Second World War, he served with the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders. During his service overseas he received a knee injury. After time spent convalescing in Toronto, Runnells graduated from the Ontario College of Art in 1950. He taught art at the Doon School of Fine Art, the Wellington County Board of Education, and St. Margaret's School for Girls in Elora. He also worked as an artist in the Graphics Department of Beatty Brothers Ltd. of Fergus, and for CKCO TV in Kitchener. Photo Gallery: WCMA_Percy Runnells will appear here on the public site.
