Remembrance Ceremony and Candle Lighting
How do you remember? To commemorate the contributions of the fallen (from WWI to Afghanistan from Wellington County), over 500 memorial markers will be placed on the front lawn at the Wellington County Museum and Archives (WCMA).
November 6 at 10:30 am
Remembrance Ceremony on the front lawn of the museum with members of the Royal Canadian Legion from across the County.
November 10 at 5:30 pm
Please join us and place a remembrance candle on each of the markers as a tribute to the fallen from Wellington County. This informal and poignant tribute takes place at dusk on November 10 and the candles will remain lit until November 12. Candles provided by the Museum and everyone is encouraged to attend.
