Type of Work: Asphalt resurfacing and bridge rehabilitation Timing: May to September 2022 Detour Timing: July 4 - September 2, 2022 Impact: A contractor has been hired to complete asphalt resurfacing and bridge rehabilitation of Marden Creek Bridge (B007071) on Wellington Road 7. The travelling public can expect lane reductions and delays during the months of May and June. A full closure of the road will be in effect from July 4 until September 2, 2022. During the closure, traffic will be re-routed per the detour route found here. |

Type of Work: Bridge rehabilitation Timing: May 24 - August 26, 2022 Impact: A contractor has been hired to complete the bridge rehabilitation of Penfold Bridge (B016038) on Wellington Road 16. Wellington Road 16 will be closed to through traffic at the bridge location starting May 24 until August 26, 2022. During the closure, traffic will be re-routed per the detour route found here. |

Type of work: Road reconstruction Timing: May 9 to August 31 2022 Impact: Please be advised that the Township of Wellington-North will be closing Queen Street East in Mount Forest, from Main Street to Ayrshire Street, starting on May 9, 2022. This road closure is expected to continue until August 31, 2022. A signed detour will be in effect during this period. Some construction activities may continue into late-September 2022, after the roadway has been reopened. |

Type of work: Bridge rehabilitation (Phase 3) Timing: July to mid-September 2022 Impact: Please be advised that the Grand River Conservation Authority will be performing bridge rehabilitation work on the Conestogo Dam Bridge. There will be a bridge closure July to mid-September, with detour and signage in place for the closure. Pedestrian (and bicycle) access to be maintained over bridge when possible. |
