Resiliency Skills Training Programmes

To respond with resilience to serious challenges requires a combination of inner strengths combined with the ability to access outside resources.

That’s why Reaching IN...Reaching OUTᴼᴹ (RIRO) helps people to build key strengths so they can reach in when they face stressful situations, and reach out to others and opportunities to deal more effectively with life’s ups and downs.

Children learn resiliency skills by watching adults model them. This simple idea is backed by many years of research and is the cornerstone of our approach.

We offer two resiliency skills training programmes to teach adults the skills they need to handle life challenges with resilience and show them how to pass those skills along to young children:

  • Reaching IN...Reaching OUTᴼᴹ (RIRO) Resiliency Skills Training Programme (for child care and early learning staff and service providers working with young children under 8 years old and their families)
  • Bounce Back & Thrive!ᴼᴹ (BBT) Resiliency Skills Training Programme for parents (and those in a parenting role) with children under 8 years old.

These evidence-based programmes are delivered by authorized trainers through non-profit and public sectors in Canada and beyond.
