ABOYNE, ON – While testing for COVID-19 at Wellington Terrace Long Term Care Home, one resident and one staff member tested positive for the virus. The outbreak status will remain in place until January 4th or at the discretion of Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health.

The resident has had mild symptoms and is currently stable. Results as to whether the case can be defined as the Omnicron variant are still pending.
