Circular Materials Announces Recycling Cart Rollout for Wellington County

The organization responsible for the residential recycling programme in Wellington County is replacing the blue box collection system with rolling carts.
Programme timelines, pre-order information, and FAQs are available online at www.circularmaterials.ca/wellington-county.

Changes to recycling progammes throughout the province, are a result of Government of Ontario mandates from 2021.

Expanded Recycling Cart Service for Businesses

The recycling cart programme that began in spring of 2025 is expanding to include a wider collection area of businesses in April this year.
Businesses located within the 14 identified urban collection areas will have the opportunity to register and begin receiving cart collection of their blue box recyclables.

Curbside Collection Schedule

When's my collection day?

Find your curbside collection schedule. Place your waste at the curb between 7:00 pm on the evening before and 7:00 am on the morning of your scheduled pick up day.
