Garbage

Garbage is collected every-other-week in all municipalities.

Remember, when disposing of garbage:

  • Place your garbage waste in yellow County of Wellington User Pay Garbage Bags
  • Bags should be securely closed and placed curbside beside your blue boxes and green bin at the end of your driveway or laneway, within 3 feet of the curb
  • There's no limit to the number of bags you can set out, but each bag must not weigh more than 18kg (40 lbs)
  • You can use covered garbage cans for collection, but only one bag per can
  • Don't place bags in ditches, on snow piles, or on the road or sidewalk
Please place your garbage curbside by 7:00 am on the day of your collection.
