Order Trees

The Green Legacy programme is celebrating our 20th anniversary in 2024! Thank you to everyone who has placed an order and/or planted trees and helped to green our communities. Annually, over 150,000 seedlings are distributed for free to Wellington County residents, local environmental groups, service clubs, schools, and our member municipalities.

Tree orders are now closed.

Orders will re-open in October 2024 for Spring 2025 distribution. We encourage you to create an account now so you are one step closer to placing your order for next Spring.

Climate Change Lens

Trees and their soil trap carbon dioxide from the air. Carbon storage is an important action to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. By planting over 3 million trees throughout Wellington County, the Green Legacy is helping to make a positive environmental impact for years to come. Learn more about our climate change initiatives.
