Yes we do. We offer palliative care to residents, focusing on their comfort and symptom management, as well as supporting their loved ones. This helps avoid unnecessary hospital transfers.
Our goal is to minimize resident moves. Each neighbourhood provides a specific level of care, but if a resident's functional ability changes, we may recommend a move to a home area that matches their needs. This could involve ensuring appropriate lift equipment, staffing levels, and recreational programming.
Our residents receive three nutritious meals a day and snacks. Families may bring in food as a treat, but we encourage consumption during the visit to avoid perishables in the room. We cannot store food specific to residents. Our dining room facilities can be used for dinner gatherings.
We offer a height adjustable bed, bedside table, lamp, dresser, and armchair. Residents can add or replace our furnishings as they like, except for the bed which we request they use the one we assign. Additional furnishings may be limited for safety reasons, depending on the resident's mobility and risk of tripping.

Family members are welcome to participate in meetings. A bulletin board located in the elevator lobby lists current membership, minutes of meetings and notice of next meeting.
