Public Engagement

The County Emergency Management team creates public awareness on the different types of hazards and how to be better prepared should they occur throughout the County using social media, local radio, newspapers and more during EP week and throughout the year.

Emergency Preparedness Week 2024

Emergency Preparedness Week (EP Week) is a federal-provincial-territorial initiative to promote emergency preparedness across Canada and happens between May 5 to 11, 2024.
