Electric Vehicles in the County
We are making it easier for people to switch to electric cars by increasing the number of EV charging stations in the county and nearby areas through the Regional EV Charging Network Strategy.
Electric cars are becoming more popular and are now better suited for people living in rural areas:
- There are now more electric pickup trucks coming to market
- Batteries that can last up to 400 km on a single charge
And if you do need to recharge, there are fast charging stations available at the Puslinch library, behind the Old Post Office in Guelph, and Arthur library.
