We are committed to making our programmes and services accessible to people with disabilities. The County continues to support the goal of an accessible Province by 2025 through the implementation of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA).
Accessibility Advisory Committee
The Accessibility Advisory Committee (AAC) advises Council and Regional Police on how to make it easier for people with disabilities to access the County's programmes and services. Committee members come from different backgrounds and most members must be people with disabilities. Visit our Agendas and Minutes page to read past agendas and minutes from the Accessibility Advisory Committee.
Accessibility Legislation
The County's accessibility plans and policy are written to support the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA) and the Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2001 (ODA).
