Northern Green Legacy Tree Nursery

The Green Legacy Programme operates two community tree nurseries with volunteers who are growing trees that are available to all Wellington County residents for FREE!

The Programme works with farmers and rural landowners to supply trees for windbreaks and living snow fences. Initiatives like these can help to increase crop yield, keep our roads safe, our water clean and add wildlife habitat to our community.

The Programme also offers trees to plant in reforestation projects, which help increase the amount for forest cover in Wellington County. Residents may request trees online October through April.
