2051 Population, Household & Employment Growth Forecasts

The County of Wellington, in consultation with our member municipalities, is responsible for the long-range growth management of our region.

Through the Province of Ontario's A Place to Grow: Growth Plan for the Greater Golden Horseshoe plan, Wellington County has been assigned increasing population, household and employment forecasts until 2051. As a result, the County and our local communities are expected to achieve significant levels of growth over the next 30 years.

The following tables outline the County and member municipalities population, household and employment forecasts to 2051 resulting from our long range growth management work.
