Wellington County is committed to providing accessible service to all residents. We produce a Multi-Year Accessibility Plan that outlines how the County is going to meet the requirements of the AODA and remove barriers to accessibility in the County's programs, services and facilities.
We strive to make the County more inclusive and accessible for everyone. For more information on our efforts to remove barriers to accessibility across Wellington County, please download our Multi-Year Accessibility Plan.

Facility Accessibility Design Manual
In 2005 the County of Wellington partnered with the City of Guelph, Homewood Health and the Upper Grand District School Board to develop a building standard that met the needs of the community.
The Facility Accessibility Design Manual (FADM) outlines the County's commitment for accessibility within County-owned facilities. The County uses the FADM for new construction as well as renovation projects. The FADM requires the County to design facilities in a manner that takes into account the needs of people with disabilities.
