Placement of Materials
When setting out your garbage bags, green bin, and recycling cart remember to follow the below steps to ensure all materials will be collected:
- Place all materials in a visible location at the bottom right side of your driveway or laneway within 1 metre (3 feet) of the curb or roadside
- Avoid placing materials in ditches, on snow piles, or on the travelled part of the road or sidewalk
- Ensure that any mailboxes are not being blocked
- Check that each garbage bag and green bin does not weigh more than 18 kg (40 lbs). Anything over this limit will not be collected.

Contact Us
If your Garbage, Green Bin, or Leaf and Yard Waste was not collected when scheduled:
- Make sure you followed guidelines for timing and accepted materials - look for an 'Oops' sticker
- Leave materials out (or place back out) for collection the following day
- Report it or contact us
