About our alpaca visits
We take our alpacas’ wellbeing seriously. Groups are kept to a maximum of 8 visitors at a time, and we build regular rest periods into the schedule throughout the day. Alpaca visits run in two back-to-back slots, then the herd gets a 30-minute quiet break before the next group, and our alpacas have Sunday completely off. This means the experience stays calm, unhurried, and genuinely enjoyable for the animals and for your family.
Easter at Harmony Meadows runs rain or shine. Wellington County in early April is spring; which means it can be beautiful, brisk, or unpredictable. We’ve got you covered:
Our tents and covered garage space house the crafts, colouring, and scavenger hunt check-in
The alpaca pasture visit is outdoors...and honestly, alpacas in drizzle are still incredibly charming
Come dressed for it: we strongly recommend rubber boots and a rain jacket or umbrella
Free parking on site
Washroom available in the farm store
Rubber boots and a rain jacket strongly recommended - it’s a working farm
Dogs must remain in the parking area - we don’t want the alpacas unsettled
The farm is a genuine working farm - mud is possible, especially in the pasture area
Children of all ages welcome; the experience is designed for families
