Event Description
The Harriston Street Party is BACK! Party on downtown for shopping, music, magic, and lots of fun.
Visitors planning to attend the Harriston Street Party on Saturday, August 8 should note an important change to this year's event layout.
Due to the ongoing downtown construction project and detour routes, Elora Street (Main Street) will remain open to traffic throughout the event and will not be closed as it has been in previous years.
Instead, the following streets will be closed to accommodate Street Party activities:
- Queen Street (Arthur Street to Mark Lane) will host the Leslie Motors Classic Car Show and the Harriston Historical Society BBQ.
- Maitland Street will be transformed into the Kids' Zone, featuring family-friendly activities including face painting, balloons, glitter tattoos, games, the Foam Party, and more.
Additional activities, live music, shopping, food vendors, and entertainment will be spread throughout downtown Harriston, including:
- Tannery Park
- The Cenotaph area
- Participating downtown businesses
- Various locations throughout the downtown core
