    Event Information

Bundle up and enjoy a scenic winter trail while playing a simple poker-style game on the trail. Participants will be given their first card before they start. As you travel the trail to our four designated locations, you will receive one additional playing card at each stop. By the time you’ve travelled the full loop, you’ll have a complete five-card poker hand. Once you return to the finish, hands will be compared to determine the winners. Prizes will be awarded for the best hand, worst hand, and a random draw—so everyone has a chance to win!

Round-trip hike time: approximately 1–1.5 hours (3.7 km)
This is not a race—take your time and enjoy the trail.
    Winning is strictly by chance.

All proceeds support the continued maintenance of the Elora Cataract Trailway.

    Important Waiver Notice

You will receive an email one week prior to the event containing a link to the Elora Cataract Trailway Association waiver. Please take time to read the waiver in advance. All participants will be required to sign the waiver on-site before taking part in the Snow Poker Challenge.
