An informative, hands-on workshop where participants will learn the basics of worm (vermi)composting and assemble their own worm bins.
An informative, hands-on workshop where participants will learn the basics (and benefits!) of worm composting (vermiculture) and assemble their own worm bins to take home. All basic supplies are included - bins, bedding and 100 live red wiggler compost worms.
This workshop will cover bedding, moisture, temperature, aeration, feeding, spacing requirements, breeding, troubleshooting, tricks and tips, types of bins, alternative uses for red wigglers and where to find additional information and resources.
