Call for Participants for Wellington County's Second Annual Multicultural Festival

Wellington County, Ont. – The County of Wellington is inviting performers, exhibitors, and food vendors from diverse cultural communities to apply to take part in the County’s second annual Multicultural Festival. The event, scheduled for July 13 at the Wellington County Museum and Archives, provides a unique platform for individuals and groups to share their cultural heritage through performances, exhibits, activities, and cuisine.   

Interested individuals and groups are invited to submit their applications online by March 31 at www.wellington.ca/multiculturalfestival. All applicants will be notified if they have been selected by April 8. 

“The Wellington County Multicultural Festival is a testament to the strength that diversity brings to our communities,” said Councillor Jeff Duncan, Chair of the County’s Economic Development committee. “Last year’s festival was an incredibly vibrant and welcoming event, and we are excited to, once again, invite our communities to help us showcase the rich cultural tapestry that makes up Wellington County.” 

Anuradha Dam, the Economic Development Project Coordinator organizing the event, adds “This is a terrific opportunity for both new and long-time residents to share their traditions, talents, and flavors with our communities. Wellington County communities are very welcoming, and we are eager to continue fostering cross cultural engagement and unity at this year’s Multicultural Festival.”
