Aboyne, Ont. – Wellington County’s annual Christmas Market returns to Wellington County Museum and Archives (WCMA) for the fourth year.
On Friday, November 29, from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm, and Saturday, November 30 from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm, the WCMA grounds will be filled with dozens of local artisans, their work on display for purchase and admiration.
“The Christmas Market is a fantastic opportunity to support some of Wellington County’s talented, local entrepreneurs while also discovering one-of-a-kind holiday gifts,” said Emily Peters, Museum Programming Supervisor.
The Christmas Market includes:
- Horse-drawn wagon rides on Saturday
- Live music Friday and Saturday featuring Meggi Faye and Natalie Reis
- Facepainting in the WCMA sunroom on Friday and Saturday
- Crafts for kids at the Wellington County Library (WCL) Aboyne Branch on Saturday
- Get up close and personal with alpacas from Harmony Meadows on Friday and Saturday
- Santa will be on site Saturday from 12:00 to 5:00 pm
- Storytime with Santa at the WCL Aboyne Branch Saturday at 2:30 pm, followed by photo opportunities
- Local food and beverages from The Serial Griller Food Truck, Fo' Cheezy Food Truck, BeaverTails - Queues de Castor, Ten of Tarts, and Fergies Fine Foods.
