TORONTO, ON - At the annual Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM) Conference, County of Wellington Councillor and Township of Mapleton Mayor Gregg Davidson, was re-elected to the FCM Board of Directors for the 2023-2024 term. Davidson is one of 16 members representing the Ontario Caucus.

“On behalf of County Council and staff, I’d like to congratulate Councillor Davidson on being re-elected to the FCM National Board of Directors,” said Warden Andy Lennox. “The FCM Board of Directors forms a broad base of support and carries the municipal message all the way to the Government of Canada.”

The FCM Board of Directors is made up of elected municipal officials and affiliate members from all regions and communities across Canada. “It’s an honour to be re-elected to the FCM National Board of Directors representing the Ontario Caucus,” commented Gregg Davidson. “I welcome this opportunity to work with leaders from across the country to address important municipal concerns. I look forward to continuing the Board’s important work with the Government of Canada. I am incredibly proud to be advocating for people of Ontario and Wellington County.”

Gregg Davidson was elected to Wellington County Council representing Ward 2 in 2014 and elected as Mayor for the Township of Mapleton in 2018.
