About our host: Kaspar Skinner is a career leather craftsman and educator with over eight years of experience designing and making a wide variety of leather goods. Having originally trained as a furniture maker, he found leather offered a more versatile and challenging medium that fewer people widely practice. He has a passion for finding the limits that the material can be pushed to, cross-collaboration with other materials, and finding innovative techniques to apply to this traditional craft.
