Multicultural Festival

• Check the weather. It’s July, but summer can surprise us. Look ahead and dress for the day – bring sunscreen, a hat, or a light jacket if needed.
• Bring cash. Some vendors may only accept cash, so it’s best to have some on hand.
• Stay hydrated. Bring a refillable water bottle. There will be hydration stations on-site to keep you cool and refreshed.
• Come hungry. We’ve got a wide range of delicious food vendors representing cultures from around the world. Support them and treat yourself.
• No pets please. For the comfort and safety of all guests, please leave pets at home.
• Alternative transportation is available. Parking is limited, so consider walking, cycling, or taking the Elora Fergus Shuttle Bus.
• Pick up a festival map. Grab a physical map at the entrance or check out our online version to see a full line-up of performances, vendors, and activities.

Thank you for your interest in the 2026 Wellington County Multicultural Festival! Applications to participate can be submitted online by March 31, 2026. At this time, event organizers will review applications and select vendors, exhibitors, and performers to participate in the event. We will notify all applicants if they have been selected by April 15, 2026. We appreciate your interest and hope to have you join us at the festival!

Important Dates

The Wellington County Multicultural Festival focuses on cultural performances and cuisines. For the second year, we are open to welcoming product sellers to our ethnocultural marketplace. Vendors selling ethnocultural items like accessories, shoes, clothing, souvenirs, décor and art are encouraged to apply. Selected vendors will need to pay a nominal fee to the Township of Centre Wellington and submit the required documents.

The Multicultural Festival takes place on the grounds of the Wellington County Museum and Archives, with activities and vendors mostly located outdoors and a few indoor spaces. Due to the limited number of indoor spaces available, indoor spaces will be assigned by the event organizer.  A site map indicating where your booth will be located will be shared with you by June 30, 2026. 

Each vendor with be provided with two six-foot tables, two chairs and an approximate 10x10ft space. Vendors are welcome to bring additional tables and chairs to set up their space as needed. 

If you require access to electricity, please let us know in your application so we can ensure that your display is placed in proximity to an electrical outlet. You are required to bring your own extension cord (minimum 25 to 50 ft) to access the electricity.  

Performers will be provided access to a dressing room.

You are required to bring your own 10x10 tent for your outdoor vendor space. Please ensure you have weights, sandbags, or similar, to anchor your tent in place. Most vendor spaces are located on a concrete driveway, so tents cannot be staked into the ground.  If you do not have a tent, please us know at the time of application.
