2023 County of Wellington Satisfaction Survey Results

Wellington County, Ont. – At today’s County Council meeting, Ipsos presented the results of the 2023 Wellington County Citizen Satisfaction Survey. Satisfaction research helps the County better understand the needs and expectations of residents.


The survey was conducted between April 25 and May 31. Ipsos surveyed a random sample of Wellington County residents to learn about their experiences living in Wellington County, their familiarity with County Council and local government issues, and their attitudes towards the programmes and services being offered by the County.


Executive Summary:


• The quality of life that the County of Wellington has to offer is a major highlight for residents.
• Overall level of satisfaction with the services provided is high – residents highlight some opportunities to enhance citizen satisfaction further.
• Residents are optimistic about the County’s future and most think it is possible to achieve a balance between growth and quality of life. Effective communication can play a vital role through this process.
• Residents of the County of Wellington express widespread familiarity with Council and gave high approval rates.

Council will continue to deliver and improve responsible public services to our diverse communities.”
