Event Information
Bike mechanics from Kitchener, Guelph, and Centre Wellington are coming together to work on donated bikes. By adding new parts and giving the bikes a lot of love, these bikes will enter our community in three ways:
Bikes stationed at Conservation areas so Environmental students from the University of Waterloo can use them during their water research.
Bikes given to Ukranian families that have just arrived in Centre Wellington.
Bikes will be sold at the Elora Farmers' Market to gather funds so we can do this again next year!
The bike mechanics are invited to come to this event, but we encourage the public to drop by and see what is happening. Also, if you are wanting to learn how to change a tire, Big Brothers Big Sisters are leading a Community Big Hang to let you give it a try from 12:00 to 1:00 pm!
Welcome to The Engine Inside! Join us for an exciting film at The Gorge Cinema. The Engine Inside reveals the unique power of the bicycle to change lives and build a better world. This film is being hosted by Green Lanes a local not-for-profit and supported by The Township of Centre Wellington and RTO4.
