This Spring’s repertoire features songs from movies old and new – think Goldfinger to The Greatest Showman. It will be our final concert directed by the multi-talented Jurgen Petrenko. Organist, pianist, former CBC executive producer, and Order of Niagara recipient, he has conducted CWS for eight years and is a highly valued staple of the Elora music scene. He is taking a much-deserved step back from his many choir-directing positions, and this concert promises to be a wonderful send off for a great musician.
In addition, this year’s musical guest is audience favourite, professional baritone Paul Grambo. Paul has performed extensively across Canada in both Opera and Musical Theatre. He has also sung as both a chorister and a soloist with The Elora Festival Singers.
