Foraging Workshop at Evergreen Tree Farm

Join us for an immersive educational foraging workshop in the heart of Ontario, where nature’s bounty awaits! This hands-on experience will teach you to identify wild edible plants and mushrooms native to the region, unlocking a world of flavors and sustainable food sources. Guided by an experienced forager, Chef Jordan will teach you how to safely and ethically harvest ingredients while respecting the delicate balance of the ecosystem. Topics will include plant and fungi identification, seasonal availability, and best practices to ensure sustainable foraging.

After the foraging walk, we’ll gather to create a light, delicious snacks using the fresh, wild ingredients we’ve harvested. Together, we’ll explore how these foraged items can be transformed into simple yet flavourful dishes, complemented by additional locally sourced ingredients.
