FAQ:
Which products are in each box? |
Farmers’ Market Boxes are a curated taste experience that contain a unique selection of products. They will be different for each market and contain local, seasonal products only. You could receive anything from fresh baking, beverages, in-season fruit and vegetables, flowers, preserves, and more. Let us surprise you – it will be delicious! |
How do these boxes differ from other fresh food boxes available locally? |
Farmers’ Market Boxes are designed to take you on a journey of local farmers’ markets from the comfort of your own home. We hope you love what you receive and we see you out at the market. They are not a vegetable/grocery box, but offer a variety of products. |
Can you accommodate for allergies, food sensitivities? |
At this time we are unable to accommodate special requests. There will be a wide variety of products in your box, and we hope you can enjoy all of them. If you encounter a product you are not able to consume, they would make a great gift to surprise a friend, neighbour or loved one, or donate to an emergency food supplier. |
I would like to order for a future date, what if plans change I cannot receive/pick up my order? |
No problem. Please let us know one week before delivery, and we can deliver your order to a different address or have someone else pick up your order. |
At what time is delivery/pick up? |
The delivery and pick up window is generally in between 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm. You will be contacted closer to the day with delivery / pick up details and to make special arrangements if necessary. |
How do I accept my delivery in an apartment building? |
Please note that farmers' market boxes will be delivered to the lobby of apartment buildings. We will ask you to meet us there to receive your delivery. Please indicate a phone number or buzzer number so we can notify you when we arrive. |
Can I cancel my order? |
Even though we hope you don’t have to, we understand that sometimes circumstances change. You can cancel your orders up to 2 weeks before the delivery date. Email ecdev@wellington.ca to cancel your order. |
Who is behind the farmers’ market boxes? |
This initiative is run as a collaborative project by the all Wellington County and Guelph Farmers’ Markets with assistance of Taste Real. As a group we work together to support local farmers, food entrepreneurs, and artisans and our amazing communities by promoting our wonderful markets to our local residents. Thank you to the dozens of volunteers that help bring this project to life! |
