Join the Town of Minto Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee for an unforgettable afternoon of storytelling, education, and celebration of Indigenous culture.

Your experience begins at the historic Norgan Theatre in Palmerston with screenings of Cry from a Diary of a Métis Child and Bill Reid Remembers, presented by the Canada National Film Board.

Following the films, we’ll gather at the Huron Perth Tipi in Gowanstown for an immersive cultural experience. Hear incredible stories and teachings from:

    • Christin Dennis — Chippewa Knowledge Carrier
    • Clarence Cachagee — Indigenous Community Educator and visionary behind Crow Shield Lodge

Snacks and refreshments will be served after the presentation.

Tickets: $10 per person. Tickets must be purchased in advance by September 19, 2025. They are available on Eventbrite or for cash only at the Town of Minto Administrative office, Launchit Office, Palmerston Home Hardware, and the Rooster's Perch in Clifford.
