Help Shape a More Resilient Wellington County

Climate change is affecting communities across Wellington through more frequent extreme heat, heavy rainfall, flooding, severe storms, poor air quality, and other weather-related challenges. These changes can impact our health, infrastructure, natural environment, economy, and overall quality of life.

To help prepare for these challenges, the County of Wellington is developing a Climate Adaptation Plan. This plan will identify actions to reduce risks, strengthen community resilience, and help the County adapt to changing climate conditions.

Your feedback will help us better understand community experiences, identify local priorities, and determine where future adaptation efforts should be focused.

This survey explores six key areas that were identified through previous community and stakeholder engagement activities:

  • Health and Social Systems
  • Built Environment
  • Agriculture and Natural Environment
  • Energy and Power
  • Community Services and Systems
  • Local Economy

There are no right or wrong answers. We are interested in learning about your experiences, concerns, and ideas for how the County can prepare for future weather and climate-related impacts.

The survey will take approximately 5-10 minutes to complete.

Thank you for taking the time to share your perspectives and help build a more resilient Wellington County.
