Celebrate National Forest Week in Centre Wellington!

Join us at Confederation Park on Saturday, September 20 in Fergus for a fun, family-friendly celebration! This exciting event will feature something for everyone:

• Urban Tree Walk – Explore the trees in our community with a guided tour led by local tree enthusiasts/historians, Rob and Al. Walk through scenic trails, cross Highland Creek and visit Wilson’s Mill falls. RSVP required. Please email. $10 fee for non-Neighborwoods members.
• Scavenger Hunts for Kids – Engage your little ones with nature-themed activities and discover hidden treasures throughout the park.
• Tree Giveaway – Take home a free tree to plant and help grow our urban canopy.
• Prizes and Fun Activities – Participate in games and challenges for a chance to win exciting prizes.

This event is completely free and open to the public! Come celebrate our forests, connect with your community, and enjoy a morning filled with outdoor fun.
